Competition Team Family Reference Page

Our Competition Team participates in a variety of optional competitions throughout the year, giving athletes opportunities to perform, receive professional feedback, and grow as artists. Families may choose to participate in one or multiple events based on their athlete’s goals, experience level, schedule, and budget.

Weekly Competition Team Rehearsals

Saturdays | 12:00–1:30 PM

Weekly rehearsals support athletes with choreography development, routine cleaning, competition technique, performance quality, conditioning, and preparation for upcoming events.

Additional private lessons or rehearsals may be recommended as competition dates approach. Any schedule changes will be communicated directly to participating families.

 

October 25, 2026

Aerial Arts Society – Pacific Southwest Regional

Downey (Los Angeles), California

A professionally judged theater competition welcoming athletes of all ages, levels, and aerial apparatuses. Showcase divisions are available for athletes who wish to perform without being scored.

Dakota Aerial Championship

Sioux Falls, South Dakota | Live and Virtual Options

This event offers both live and virtual divisions, making it an excellent option for first-time competitors as well as experienced athletes.

Earth & Elevate’s virtual routines will be recorded in the studio on October 17, 2026, in a showcase-style event with an audience.

  • Standard: August 17–October 11, 2026

  • Live Solo: $120–$145

  • Virtual Solo: $105–$145

A regional competition and workshop weekend designed to be an approachable introduction to aerial competition while also offering divisions for advanced athletes.

A nationally recognized circus arts festival combining competition, workshops, and performances in a week-long event.

Aerialympics Invitational

Hosted by Earth & Elevate Aerial Arts
McMinnville, Oregon

Our annual home competition provides a welcoming, professionally judged experience for athletes of all levels. Performance-only divisions are available, making this an ideal first competition while still offering advanced divisions for seasoned competitors.

Summer 2027

Aerialympics Nationals: “In the Wild”

Virtual National Competition

Qualified athletes may submit professionally recorded routines for national judging without traveling to a live event.

Typical Timeline

  • Registration: Early summer

  • Video submission: Mid-July

Estimated Registration

  • $225–$300 per routine

Resources

  • National registration information is released annually following the invitational season.

Additional Competition Expenses

In addition to event registration fees, families should anticipate expenses for:

  • Competition coaching

  • Choreography and private lessons

  • Additional rehearsals

  • Costumes

  • Music editing, if needed

  • Travel and lodging for live events

  • Optional workshops

Detailed pricing for coaching and other studio-related expenses will be shared before each registration period so families can make informed decisions and plan accordingly.
