Dynamics on Rope and Silks - Join Katie for the foundations of dynamics on vertical apparatus! From beats, to flares, to c-shapes! If you are a vertical artist looking to add some flare to your style and build strength and confidence in your dynamics this workshop is for you! Prerequisites: ability to invert without assistance, front and back beats, bell and scissor beats. About Katie- Katie is a full time aerial arts instructor and performer based out of Gig Harbor, WA. Her passion for fitness and people led her to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with the intention of becoming an Occupational Therapist. After earning her undergrad she was swept into the world of circus arts and used her skills and education in an entirely different way. Katie founded Ethereal Arts Northwest, an aerial studio in her hometown, in December of 2018. Coaching and performing has now become her full time occupation and allows her to pursue her passion for aerial while sharing it with her community. She has been coaching circus arts for over 10 years now, and works with students of all ages and abilities. Katie primarily performs corde lisse (rope), hand-balancing, and straps. She is also a proficient performer and instructor in silks and acrobatics. Katie has performed for several different companies and shows in many beautiful venues around the west coast! She has also taught workshops and retreats around the world from California, to Hawaii, and all the way to Japan!

Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy – Earth & Elevate Aerial Arts & The Yoga Cooperative Advance Registration Required All classes, camps, workshops, and events must be reserved in advance through the booking system. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment- Earth & Elevate Aerial Arts: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Unpaid reservations are not guaranteed and may be released to waitlisted participants. The Yoga Cooperative: Payments for classes, workshops, and events are made directly to the instructor leading the session. Please confirm accepted payment methods with your instructor prior to attending. Cancellations & Refunds Classes: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the start of class may be rescheduled or credited. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Camps/Workshops: Cancellations made 7 or more days before the start date are eligible for a credit toward future programming. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for same-day cancellations or no-shows. Transfers Bookings may be transferred to another eligible participant if arranged in advance. Studio Cancellations In the rare event that Earth & Elevate or The Yoga Cooperative must cancel a class, camp, or event (due to low enrollment, instructor illness, weather, or other emergencies), participants will be notified promptly and offered the option of a refund or credit. Memberships & Ongoing Enrollment (Earth & Elevate Aerial Arts only) Memberships and recurring enrollments are billed month-to-month with no long-term contract. A 30-day notice is required for cancellation of recurring billing.
